USPS driver throws packages on porch, runs lap around truck, speeds off

OKLAHOMA CITY -- In the latest case of mail abuse, an Oklahoma man caught a US Postal Service worker throwing packages onto his porch, running a lap around the mail truck and speeding off.

Pedro Gonzales of Oklahoma City posted this video on YouTube with a warning and explanation.

“Watch as a USPS worker throws my packages unto my front porch and then takes a lap around her vehicle. This occurred at approximately 10:46 am on Sunday, March 22, 2015. What was in the packages? More surveillance cameras. . .”

Post Office officials have seen the video and are investigating, according to UPI.

"Postal Service officials said the woman has been identified from the footage and they are taking steps to ensure the incident is not repeated. They said privacy rules prevent them from releasing the employee’s name or revealing whether she would be fired."

The box reportedly contained a camera and DVDs. Postal officials reportedly visited Gonzales' home and apologized. Amazon also offered him a 20 percent discount.

As for the reason the woman ran a lap around the vehicle? Drivers are instructed to check behind the vehicle before backing up.
