Overnight: Milwaukee firefighters battle two fires within minutes

Fire at 10th and Lincoln in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee firefighters were busy battling two different fires within minutes early Sunday, March 29th.

Fire crews were dispatched to a two-and-a-half story building near 10th and Lincoln shortly before 2 a.m. Officials say the fire started on the second floor -- and ended up causing more than $60,000 in damage.

Just minutes later, firefighters were called to a fire at a vacant home near 18th and Mineral. When they arrived on the scene, flames were apparently shooting out of the two story home. But again, the home was vacant.

Nobody was hurt in either fire.
