My thoughts a wel. I checked online and came across a website warning people about the dangers of Toothpaste with Fluoride in it. According to that website the FDA now requires ALL toothpasted that contains Fluoride now include this warning on the packaging…

“WARNING: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately.”

Sorry about the spelling, sticky keboard…

Should be “My thoughts as well…”

and “…ALL toothpasted” should be toothpaste minus the d.

Lighten up AL P and WISILL and look at this chart. This info comes from the website FlourideAlertOrg.

Minimum Lethal Dose of Fluoride Contained in One Tube of “Colgate for Kids” Toothpaste

    2 years ~12 kg 60 mg 42% of tube
    3 years ~15 kg 75 mg 53% of tube
    4 years ~16 kg 80 mg 56% of tube
    5 years ~ 18 kg 90 mg 63% of tube
    6 years ~20 kg 100 mg 70% of tube
    7 years ~22 kg 110 mg 77% of tube
    8 years ~25 kg 125 mg 87% of tube
    9 years ~28 kg 140 mg 98% of tube

So since a 9 year old weighing roughly 61.6 pounds would have to consume 98% of a tube of toothpaste in order to ingest enough fluoride for a lethal dose, an adult weighing on average 150lbs would need to ingest more than two full tubes of toothpaste for a lethal dose. They are not putting that much toothpaste on each oreo cookie in the prank and I’m pretty certain the adult who took one bite of the cookie would realize right away what was going on and stop there. Your concerns are not valid and you have simply pushed the panic button without really checking out the facts.

AL P you have lost all credibility here as you go off on a tangent and blurt out BS without checking your facts first. A warning label has to be on the product but studies with actual facts show the truth. By the way, the world is not flat and you will not fall off the edge!!!
