GREENFIELD (WITI) -- U.S. Marshals are looking for 28-year-old Charles Cole.

Cole was convicted of robbing a TCF Bank in Greenfield back in 2008.  In that robbery, Cole and an accomplice ordered everyone onto the floor and stole more than $900 from the teller's drawers.

A criminal complaint says as the robbers drove away, the dye pack exploded.  Drivers saw red smoke coming from the vehicle and the robbers attempting to throw money out the windows.

Cole was sentenced to 85 months in prison.  U.S. Marshals say he's supposed to be in a halfway house but violated the rules of his release.  When U.S. Marshals tried to take him into custody in early March, Cole ran.

Cole is 6'01'' and weighs 245 pounds.  He has a tattoo of 'CEE' on his neck. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call U.S. Marshals at 414-297-3707.
