Pictures: Pre-game ceremonies on Opening Day at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The pre-game ceremonies on Opening Day at Miller Park were filled with excitement and emotion.

The team paid tribute to Joe Attanasio, the father of Brewers owner Mark Attanasio. It has been a tradition to Joe to sing the national anthem on Opening Day. But in the past year, Joe passed away. As a tribute, a video of Joe singing the national anthem from last year's Opening Day was played on the scoreboard. You could practically hear a pin drop -- as the anthem rang throughout the ballpark. Also as a tribute, JOE was painted right behind home plate.

Also in the pre-game lineup -- Major League Baseball Commissioner Emeritus Alan "Bud" Selig threw out the ceremonial pitch. On the receiving end of the pitch was Brewers owner Mark Attanasio. The two did not disappoint fans.
