WisDOT to resume work on Mayfair Road resurfacing project April 13th

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) -- Beginning Monday, April 13, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is scheduled to resume work on the Mayfair Road resurfacing project in Milwaukee County. The project extends on WIS 100 (Mayfair Road) from Burleigh Street to Silver Spring Drive, and on Silver Spring Drive from 119th Court to Mayfair Road.

Single lane closures on Mayfair Road will begin on Monday, as crews begin landscaping operations. There will likely be single lane closures throughout the project.

The project began in winter of 2014. The contractor, Payne & Dolan, plans on completing the project in spring 2015. The schedule is weather permitting and subject to change.
