Update: Max gets his FOX6 microphone!

(WITI) -- We wanted to give you an update on a story that got a lot of positive feedback from our viewers. An elementary school teacher in West Allis wanted us to know about a child in his class who has a unique love for news.

You remeber Max Maltezos. He's a hyperlexic 6-year-old boy with autistic tendencies — which means he has a precocious ability to read words without prior training. We found out that Max is already practicing to become an anchorman. And his favorite anchor team — FOX6 WakeUp.

So with the help of his teacher and his parents — we decided to surprise him.
