Whitefish Bay police investigate three incidents involving suspicious man approaching children

WHITEFISH BAY (WITI) -- Whitefish Bay police are investigating three incidents in which a suspicious white man in his 40s or 50s approached our watched young children playing outside.

The first incident occurred Monday, April 13th in the 6100 block of N. Bay Ridge Road.

Police say the man approached a mother and daughter in their front yard -- attempting to pet their dog and engage them in conversation.

The next day, Tuesday, April 14th, police say the man came back and approached the daughter and the dog in the front yard.

On Wednesday, April 22nd, in the 2000 block of E. Glendale, police say a girl was playing baseball in her backyard when she saw a man at the fence line watching her. She ran inside and told her babysitter, who called police.

When police arrived, the man was gone.
