Whitefish Bay police investigate two thefts that involved unlocked vehicles

WHITEFISH BAY (WITI) -- Whitefish Bay police are investigating two thefts that involved unlocked vehicles.

Police say sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16th, an unlocked vehicle parked in the teachers lot of the Whitefish Bay Middle School was entered. A laptop computer and other personal belongings were stolen.

At approximately 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29th, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5100 block of N. Idlewild Avenue was entered and a purse was stolen. The suspect vehicle involved with the theft is a gold or tan colored Chevrolet Impala with dark tinted windows.
