Russell Wilson spots a soldier on his flight, upgrades him to first class

SEATTLE (Q13 FOX) -- He may play for the Seattle Seahawks, but people remember him in Wisconsin for his days playing for the Badgers. Now, quarterback Russell Wilson is garnering national attention for a move he reportedly pulled Wednesday on an Alaska Airlines flight headed back to Seattle.

According to the IBtimes, Wilson, travelling back to Seattle from an unknown destination, spotted an Army soldier on the plane headed back to a seat in coach. Wilson apparently took it upon himself to upgrade the soldier, identified as Kane Bernas, to first-class.

The two shared a chat in first-class, and Kane later tweeted to Wilson, thanking him for the awesome upgrade.

Wilson also posted a picture of himself with members of the Alaska Airlines flight crew Wednesday.
