89-year-old woman pronounced dead at the scene after two-vehicle crash in Town of Sheboygan Falls

TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN FALLS (WITI) — One person was killed in a crash involving two vehicles that occurred on State Highway 23 at Meadowlark Road in the Town of Sheboygan Falls on Thursday afternoon, May 14th.

It happened shortly before 1:30 p.m.

Officials say a vehicle traveling southbound on Meadowlark Road crossed the westbound lane of State Highway 23 and was attempting to cross the eastbound lane when it was struck in the passenger side door by an eastbound vehicle.

The southbound vehicle was driven by a 90-year-old Sheboygan Falls man. The passenger in his vehicle was an 89-year-old female from Sheboygan Falls.  The man was taken to the hospital, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The eastbound vehicle was driven by a 42-year-old female from Sheboygan.  Both the driver and a young child in the vehicle were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

The crash remains under investigation.
