One person taken to the hospital after two-vehicle crash in Racine

RACINE (WITI) -- The Racine Police Department on Friday  morning, May 22nd responded to the 3500 block of Douglas Avenue for a two-vehicle accident.

Police say one of the drivers was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital by rescue, where she is currently being treated for her injuries. The severity of those injuries is unknown at this time.

The investigation is active and ongoing, and the Wisconsin State Patrol has responded to assist Racine Police Traffic Bureau in the investigation of this accident. No further information is being released at this time.
