Police: Two suspects, including 13-year-old boy arrested in connection with North Side burglary

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say two suspects, including a 13-year-old boy, were arrested for their roles in a North Side burglary.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of W. Chambers Street around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 24th for a report of an entry in progress. The caller told police that two suspects broke a window, entered a home, and walked out with the victim’s belongings, including jewelry, electronics, and a television.

Responding officers saw two suspects who matched the description of the burglars in an alley in the 3000 block of N. 28th Street and took the 13-year-old Milwaukee boy and an 18-year-old Chicago woman into custody.

Several of the stolen items were found in an alley in the 3000 block of N. 29th Street.

MPD will present charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
