GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers announced Wednesday, June 3rd that Packers Family Night, presented by Bellin Health, will take place Saturday evening, August 8th.

Now in its 15th year, Family Night will serve as the introduction of the 2015 Green Bay Packers, in-person to a capacity crowd in Lambeau Field and on television to a state-wide audience. If you’re not able to make it to the event, you can watch it LIVE on WITI-TV FOX6!

The event, which begins with in-stadium activities at 5:30 p.m., will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

The format of this year’s Family Night will once again be a full practice, in order for the team to accomplish its preparation goals for the regular season. The full practice will include 11-on-11 sessions that will feature live contact.

The evening remains family-focused and will feature a game-like atmosphere with use of the video boards, gameday music and a fireworks show at the end of the night.

“It’s the tailgating and, you know, all kind of events going on outside the stadium and then inside the stadium. It’s, you know, mostly football themed, but it’s really — we run it just like a regular game. We’ve got the video boards and the music and the game entertainment. The highlight of the evening is always the fireworks show. So even if your kids are young and they start getting a little tired, stay for the fireworks. It’s worth it,” Packers President Mark Murphy said.

Family Night is a part of the Back to Football campaign, presented by Bellin Health. Other components of the campaign include Packers training camp and Packers preseason games.

Tickets, priced at $10, will go on sale June 22nd at 10 a.m. CST. Fans can purchase their tickets through Ticketmaster, over the phone or via the internet. Tickets also can be purchased at the Packers’ ticket office in person. There is no ticket limit on purchases. All individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket for admittance.

A group ticket program (minimum of 50 tickets) will be offered again. The application form is available online at http://pckrs.com/93vn, in person at the Packers ticket office or can be requested to be faxed by calling 920/569-7501. Group ticket orders are restricted to approved groups and organizations, and are to be used for the sole purpose of accommodating a group or organizational outing. Resale is prohibited.

Included in the evening’s activities will be the popular Chili’s “Jerseys Off Our Backs” promotion with Packers jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed practice – to be given away in a random drawing.

The Copps-Pick ’n Save Family Night Picnic also returns and the spectacular Copps-Pick ’n Save Fireworks Show will conclude the night.

Parking for the event will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Program.

In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are cancelled.

The entire training camp schedule is being finalized and will be released in the near future.
