WHITEFISH BAY — Hundreds of kids packed into Whitefish Bay’s Craig Counsell Park Saturday morning, June 20th for a free youth baseball clinic.

The focus of the clinic is on helping youth develop fundamental baseball skills, while building self-respect and confidence.

If that wasn’t cool enough, several former major league stars were there — including Sal Bando and Cecil Cooper.

The clinic is held in honor of Greg Loyda who passed away in 2010. He was well known in the community and spent years coaching Whitefish Bay little league.

The Hanover Insurance Group partnered with American Advantage Insurance Group, Ansay & Associates and the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association to host the Legends for Youth baseball clinic.
