Watch: 66 surfers ride giant surfboard and break world record

CALIFORNIA — A total of 66 surfers piled onto a 42 foot long surf board and rode a wave to break a world record!

Saturday, June 20th the surfers attempted the break the Guinness Book of World Record for “most people riding a surfboard at once” — and they succeeded!

The previous record, 47 people, was surpassed by almost 20 bodies — 66 surfers in total helped break the record. The crew rode the giant surfboard for a solid 13 seconds.

    That was pretty cool. Who built the surfboard and how much did it cost and weigh? Nice job to all who helped and set the record. That was AWESOME totally AWESOME Dudes!
