15 fire agencies called out to battle blaze at single-family home in Elm Grove

MILWAUKEE -- Fifteen fire agencies were called out to battle a blaze at a home in Elm Grove on Wednesday morning, July 1st.

It happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. at a home on Wrayburn Road.

The first responding fire command and police units arrived within one minute, and observed white and gray smoke coming from the home's roof.

The fire occurred in a single-family home.

No one was home at the time of the fire -- but contractors were on scene repairing a flat rubber roof.

The fire was contained to the attic and upper side walls of the home.

No one was injured.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.

The Salvation Army responded to the home to assist the family.
