Caught on camera: Police need help to identify suspect sought in two robberies

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are asking the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing the Family Dollar store just south of Mineral on S. Cesar E. Chavez Dr. on Sunday, June 28th. It’s believed the same suspect robbed a 7-11 convenience store at Oakland and Hartford on Milwaukee's east side around 4 p.m. that same day.

The suspect walked into the store just after 7:30 p.m., pointed an object concealed in his clothing at the clerk, and demanded money. The suspect took the money and fled from the scene.

The clothing and vehicle description for the suspect is the same in this incident as it was the 7-11 incident. He is a male, black, 40-45 years-old, 6’-6’4” tall, and 240-260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat with a white logo, a black jacket, a white shirt, tan pants, and black shoes. He was driving an early 2000’s, four-door, black, Cadillac DeVille with tinted windows.

Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360.
