First of its kind event! Summerfest to live stream performances; some pre-recorded, some in real time

MILWAUKEE -- Summerfest officials are excited to announce that for the first time in Summerfest history, the festival’s highlights of artists’ performances and interviews will be streamed live to the world via a partnership with Live Media Group, the industry leader in live event production, broadcast and technology.  This partnership brings a one of a kind, live music experience to fans around the globe, through a live web and mobile broadcast on Summerfest.com.

As of Thursday, July 2nd, 60 major Summerfest artists will be sharing their live performances from six stages at Summerfest and the stream will also feature “behind the scenes access” with 35 artist interviews.

Select performances have been recorded during the festival and other performances will be streaming “Live” in real time.

Scheduled performances include, Kings of Leon, Third Eye Blind, Vance Joy, The Doobie Brothers, Andy Grammar, Walk the Moon, Coheed and Cambria, Robert DeLong, Phil Vassar, Atmosphere, Flogging Molly, Saint Motel, Mat Kearney, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Flaming Lips, Sammy Hagar and the Circle, PPL MVR and many, many more.

Saturday, July 4, 2015     1:00 pm CST through Midnight (with a 24 hour rebroadcast)

Sunday, July 5, 2015        8:00 pm CST through Midnight (with a 24 hour rebroadcast)

After the streaming and rebroadcast periods are concluded, select performances and interviews will be available for viewing on Summerfest.com for a 30-day period.
