Experts puzzled by 'mysterious sea creature' washed ashore in Russia

RUSSIA -- A "mysterious sea creature" has washed ashore in Russia and now authorities are trying to figure out what it is.

NBC news reported the creature was recently found washed up on the shore of the Sakhalin Island.

The creature is described to have a "furry tail" and a "long dolphin-like beak."

According to an article in The Siberia Times, witnesses say the carcass is more than twice the size of a human.

"It has fur. It's unusual. Dolphins do not have any fur. According to the characteristics of the skin, it is a rare species. I doubt that it lived in our waters. Most likely, the animal was brought by a warm current," said marine expert, Nikolay Kim.

The strange mystery is reportedly leaving marine experts puzzled.
