Water Street Brewery opens new location in Oak Creek

OAK CREEK --  Water Street Brewery, Milwaukee’s original brew pub, opened its new location in Oak Creek, off Highway 43 & Drexel Avenue at Drexel Town Square on Monday, July 20th.

The first Water Street Brewery opened in 1987 in Downtown Milwaukee, the Delafield location off I 94 & Highway 83 in 1999, and Grafton off I 43 & Highway 60 in 2010.

All Water Street Brewery locations brew their beer on premise and offer patrons a continuous variety of award winning beers, a vast selection of menu items, and a casual family friendly atmosphere.

With cream city brick, turn-of-the-century factory design, exposed steel beams and intricate woodwork Water Street Brewery Oak Creek will resemble buildings at the former Delphi Plant and the industrial history of the area. The custom, state-of-the-art brewing system will produce and serve fresh Water Street Brewery craft beer directly from the tank to tap. To date, the brewery has produced over 74,630 half-barrels - approximately 12,334,026 glasses of beer in over 70 different styles.

Signature, one-of-a-kind pieces from the Water Street Brewery memorabilia collection have been selected to be on display in Oak Creek. The collection features over 50,000 beer cans, 1,300 beer tap knobs and handles, 825 bottle and can openers, 25 original Wisconsin brewery lithographs, 250 server trays, and over 100 rare neon signs of both large and small scale.

Water Street Brewery Oak Creek will be open daily at 11 a.m., serving lunch and dinner with a variety of specials. Weekend brunch is available beginning at 10am. For more information please visit www.waterstreetbrewery.com.
