New look Brewers drop another to Cubs

MILWAUKEE—After 5 players were traded away, the current Brewers were shut down by the Cubs Friday night, losing 4-1.

Ryan Braun hit his 18th home run of the season in the first inning to give the Brewers a 1-0 lead. But the Cubs would score 3 runs, 2 of them earned off of starter Tayler Jungmann giving him the loss. He would pitch 5 2/3 innings, giving up 7 hits while striking out 7.

Anthony Rizzo would hit his 19th home run in the win.
