Kenosha police encourage residents to be alert after two armed robberies in five-day period

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police are warning residents after two armed robberies that have occurred within a five-day period.

Police say during these armed robberies, the victims were robbed of personal belongings.

The robberies occurred during the hours of darkness between 75th Street - 80th Street, and 30th Avenue - 39th Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male, with a medium build. Police say the suspect is armed with a handgun.

Residents are reminded to be aware of their surroundings and report suspicious persons to the police.
