Freshmen settle into dorms at Milwaukee School of Engineering; Classes begin September 8th

MILWAUKEE -- Students are settling into their dorm rooms at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) ahead of 'welcome week' this week.

This weekend was 'move-in weekend' for MSOE freshman.

Over the next few weeks, they'll have the opportunity to explore campus and start making friends.

FOX6 News talked with a father who's been hard at work since Friday, August 28th. He says aside from the rain we saw this weekend, the weather has been great for moving.

"This is good weather for move-in day because it's not brutally hot. But once you start carrying stuff it gets kinda hot," Tom Schober said.

Classes begin on Tuesday, September 8th.

School officials are expecting around 2,800 undergraduate and graduate students this year.
