Mark your calendar: UW System leaders set to start listening sessions

MADISON — University of Wisconsin System leaders are set to begin a series of listening sessions around the state.

The first session is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at UW-La Crosse. Community, legislative and business leaders are expected to speak on health topics.

System leaders plan to hold 13 more sessions on eight other campuses this fall. UW System President Ray Cross promised to hold the sessions when he was hired in January 2014. The events are designed to give system officials an idea of how they can be more responsive to Wisconsin residents' needs as they develop a new strategic plan.

All the sessions are open to the public. CLICK HERE for a look at upcoming listening sessions.
