Shooting near 26th and Auer

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say two people were shot near 26th and Auer on Thursday night, September 3rd. It happened shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Police say the victims are a 41-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. The woman, now identified as Kealicia Clark, died at the hospital.

Police say the two victims were shot in front of a home in the area by unknown subjects who fired from across the street.

The man suffered a non life-threatening injury. A motive for this shooting is under investigation.
