Police: Man & woman shot, injured when bullets were fired from passing vehicle

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say two people were shot and injured on Tuesday afternoon, September 8th.

It happened near 51st and W. Congress on Milwaukee's north side around 1:00 p.m.

Police say a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were shot while inside a vehicle. The shots were fired by an unknown suspect in a passing vehicle.

The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to seek a motive and search for suspects.
