MILWAUKEE -- Hundreds of MPS kids at Pierce Elementary get to start the school year on the right foot thanks to people buying those Backpack Buddies from Balistreri-owned Sendik’s and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

Proceeds from sales of 4,000 Backpack Buddies went toward about 700 new backpacks filled with school supplies that’ll be distributed to MPS students.

MPS students are very lucky to have this kind of opportunity to get free backpack for going to the school. The kids will have new backpack and start education level! Thanks for arranging this kind of opportunity for the kids.
