Fatal wreck: One dead following two-vehicle crash on CTH A in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash in Dodge County Friday, September 11th. It happened on CTH A at the intersection with CTH W around 7:30 a.m.

Preliminary investigation shows that a car was traveling north on CTH A approaching the intersection with CTH W.  A Jeep was traveling east on CTH W and was stopped for the posted stop sign at the intersection with CTH A.  The Jeep entered the intersection and the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the Jeep, now identified as 65-year-old Steven Landfeldt of Beaver Dam, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital.

Assisting at the scene was:  Juneau Police, Juneau Fire, Juneau and Beaver Dam EMS, Dodge County Medical Examiner and the Dodge County Emergency Response Team.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
