Greenfield man faces fourth drunk driving charge after incident on I-94

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 38-year-old Greenfield man for allegedly driving drunk on Thursday night, September 17th. This, after they found his truck off the roadway along I-94 at the southbound Ryan Rd. off ramp. The accused is Zoran Blagojevic.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting the vehicle off the roadway just after 8 p.m. Blagojevic and two passengers were standing outside of the vehicle when deputies arrived.

Blagojevic reported to deputies that he was driving the vehicle and that he drove off the roadway into the ditch. Blagojevic acknowledged to officials that he had been drinking "Jack and Cokes."

 

Officials say Blagojevic then failed the standard field sobriety test and also tested a .11 on the preliminary breath test. He was subsequently arrested for OWI-4th Causing Injury. If convicted, Blagojevic faces up to six years in prison.

Officials say the passengers in the truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries. One was treated at the scene and released. The other was transported to a hospital for treatment.
