One dead, two injured following two-vehicle crash on CTH A in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on CTH A, one half mile north of CTH B in the Township of Beaver Dam Sunday, September 20th.

Preliminary investigation shows that a Cadillac Deville  traveling southbound on CTH A crossed the center line and struck a Volvo station wagon, which was traveling northbound.  When the Cadillac crossed the center line the two vehicles struck in the northbound lane.

The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Beaver Dam Community hospital with non-life threating injuries.

The driver of the Volvo was taken by Flight for life to Aurora Hospital in Summit with serious injuries and died early Monday morning.   There was also a passenger who was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital and later flown by UW-Med flight to UW Hospital.

Assisting at the scene were Beaver Dam fire and EMS, Flight for Life, Town of Fox Lake Police Department, Beaver Dam Police Department and the Dodge County Emergency Response Team.

At this time names are being withheld.

The crash remains under investigation By the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
