PORT WASHINGTON — Ozaukee County Sheriff’s officials say a man was seriously injured when he fell from a SkyTrak on Thursday afternoon, September 24th.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. on E. Norport Drive in the Town of Port Washington.

The victim, a man from Saukville, was working on a home under construction. Officials say he was being raised in the SkyTrak towards the roof of the home when the rear left tire lost traction and caused the boom to shift.

The victim lost his balance and fell off the platform — falling approximately 20 feet to the ground.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
