One person flown by Flight for Life after RV strikes car in Town of Trenton

DODGE COUNTY -- A person is flown by Flight for Life with life-threatening injuries after an RV collided with another vehicle on U.S. 151.

Authorities say the crash occurred at approximately 3:18 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 151 and Oakland Road in the Township of Trenton.

After investigation, officials say a 1991 Dodge Spirit, driven by 78-year-old Orville Kemink of Brandon, merged onto U.S. 151 southbound at Oakland Road and was struck by a 2004 Kenworth RV, operated by 68-year-old Ronald Buholzer of Monroe, which was also traveling southbound on U.S. 151 in the right, outside traffic lane.

The front of the RV struck the rear of the Dodge, forcing the Dodge off the roadway.

Dodge County crash



Kemink sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital.

Buholzer and his passenger of the RV, were uninjured.

Assisting with the scene was: Wisconsin State Patrol, Dodge County Emergency Management, Waupun Fire, Lifestar EMS, and the Dodge County Highway Department.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
