Car ends up halfway on top of another vehicle near Sherman & Capitol

MILWAUKEE -- A car ends up resting on top of another car during an incident that occurred near the intersection of Sherman Boulevard and Capitol Drive in Milwaukee.

Authorities say they responded to the scene shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday evening, September 25th.

A witness sent pictures into FOX6 News of the aftermath of the crash -- the pictures showing a car that looks to be resting on top of another car.

Authorities have not released many details at this time, but FOX6 News' Ben Handelman was on the scene of the incident and spoke with the owner of the car that ended up resting on top of the other vehicle. She claims near S. 31st and Burnham Street, a suspect pointed a gun at her wanting to steal her car. Two suspects were able take off in her car.

The victim says police tracked the car via GPS monitoring and a high-speed chase ensued. She says her stolen vehicle ended almost on top of another vehicle near Sherman and Capitol when three suspects got out of the car and tried to flee on foot -- which would indicate the suspects picked up another person along the way. The victim says all three suspects that attempted to bail from the car, were arrested by police.

A Milwaukee Fire Department battalion chief says one private ambulance transported a person who was having trouble breathing to the hospital regarding this incident. It is unclear who that person was, or if they were involved in the crash.

FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com will continue to monitor this incident and will update this story when more information is available.
