Police called out to four separate shooting scenes; two involving 16-year-old victims

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police were on the scene of four separate shooting incidents on Monday night, September 28th -- two of them with teenage victims.

The first occurred near Humboldt Boulevard and E. Center Street at 9:40 p.m.

Police say a 37-year-old man was shot while walking in the area. He is expected to survive.

The motive for this shooting is under investigation, and no one is in custody.

The second shooting occurred 10 minutes later, at 9:50 p.m. -- near 16th and W. Capitol Drive.

Police say a 16-year-old boy was shot during a robbery. He suffered a minor injury.

No one is in custody.

Around 9:45 p.m., officials say a man was shot near 10th and Burleigh after an argument. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No suspects have been arrested at this time.

At 10:50 p.m., officers were on scene near 16th and W. Locust -- where police say a 16-year-old boy suffered a graze wound when several shots were fired.

The motive for this shooting is under investigation. No one is in custody.

This violence comes after police were called out to the scene of a double shooting Monday evening -- near 24th and Nash.

Two men were shot -- one of them seriously injured.

And on Monday afternoon, around 2:00 p.m., police were on scene near 50th and Townsend, where a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg.

He is expected to survive.

Milwaukee has recorded 114 homicides this year. The latest occurred near 24th and Chambers on Sunday night. 33-year-old Timothy Robinson was shot, and died at the hospital.

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man is in custody.
