Captured: Convicted of a brutal sexual assault in 1999, U.S. Marshals search for Jermaine Jones

MILWAUKEE -- U.S. Marshals are looking for 35-year-old Jermaine Jones.

Jones is a registered sex offender. He was convicted of a brutal sexual assault in 1999.

U.S. Marshals say Jones and two accomplices raped a woman inside a home on Milwaukee's south side. Afterward, the woman had hot sauce, baby powder and lighter fluid poured on her body.  U.S. Marshals say the woman escaped to a bathroom and when Jones opened the door, she saw fires had been lit in her living room.

The woman was able to get out of the house alive. Jones was convicted and sent to prison. U.S. Marshals say he served nine years of a 15 year prison sentence.

U.S. Marshals say Jones has violated the rules of his supervision multiple times. In April, Jones went missing and hasn't been seen since.

Jermaine Jones is 5'7'' and weighs 200 pounds. He goes by the nickname 'Black Jones.' U.S. Marshals say he could be in the area of Teutonia and Capitol.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call U.S. Marshals at 414-297-3707.
