It happened around 12:30 p.m. near Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and Prospect Street in Racine.

Tramerquae Massie

Police say the victim told officers he was in the area where the shooting happened when he was approached by the suspect and two additional people. The suspect produced a handgun and shot at the victim several times -- hitting him twice.

Officers stopped two people who matched the description given of the individuals who were with the suspect at the time of the shooting, and found them to be in possession of a semi-automatic pistol.  It was determined by police that this weapon was not the weapon used in the shooting.

Police have developed a person of interest in this case -- a 16-year-old boy. They are now seeking Tramerquae Massie -- a boy they describe as armed and dangerous.

Massie is African-American, and stands 5'9" tall, weighing 185 pounds.
