BROOKFIELD — A man was arrested Sunday night, October 11th following a police pursuit and crash.

According to Brookfield police, the pursuit began with a traffic stop on eastbound I-94 at Barker Road. Officials say the suspect was pulled over around 6 p.m. for a traffic violation.

Police say the suspect fled the scene eastbound on I-94 before heading north on I-41. The driver then lost control and struck a barrier. Police say the driver bailed out the passenger-side door and a short foot pursuit ensued before the suspect was captured by police. The suspect was not armed.

Police recovered marijuana and crack cocaine prepared for sale.

The Town of Brookfield Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department were involved in the chase — which lasted 10.2 miles and reached speeds of 100 m.p.h.

The suspect is expected to be charged with felony fleeing, restricting and obstructing an officer and possession with intent to deliver marijuana and cocaine.

Of course if this occurred in Milwaukee he would have just driven away because sissy flynn won’t allow pursuits. He also doesn’t really care how long it takes his officers to respond to a 911 call…
