Packers fans: Here are even more reasons reasons to cheer for Ha Ha and Davante

GREEN BAY -- It doesn't take long for a player drafted by the Green Bay Packers to realize that he's joined a special organization; one where excellence is expected on and off the field.

"I grew up with my grandparents around me a whole lot. And I went up, asked her about my name, Ha'Sean and she gave me the name Ha Ha," said Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. "It stuck with me from elementary to high school to college and I just ran with it."

Packers safety Clinton-Dix has his grandmother to thank for his nickname. Growing up in the tiny town of Eatonville, Florida, he took some heat for it.

"Oh, most definitely, you always got the jokes in behind me. People would fake laugh and pretend they were calling my name and stuff like that. But I love my name and I'm glad I have it," said Clinton-Dix.

As a young man now starting at safety for the Packers, Ha Ha had the last laugh.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and wide receiver Davante Adams have a chance to be star players for the Packers. It's heady stuff -- but both young men appear grounded. They say family members helped them build a firm foundation.

"I'm mean, really, it was just the way I was raised. I've got great parents, great people around me," said Adams. "My family is just, I was a product of my environment. I was blessed to see and experience a lot of different things and be a certain way. So I just try to make sure that I give my family and God the glory for everything I encounter."

"Most definitely. My family has always been behind me and supportive of me," said Clinton-Dix. "So we kind of push each other to go hard and continue to make plays."

Both Davante and Ha Ha give credit to their coaches in college for helping them developing on and off the field. The two also know what others did for them growing up.

On a sun-splashed September afternoon at Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva, they paid it forward as featured speakers at the Klumb Family Foundation's charity outing for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions.
