NEW BERLIN — New Berlin police have released a sketch of a suspect following a strong-armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, October 15th.

It happened around 9:30 p.m.  a home on S. Timber Ridge Court and W. Eagle Terrace.

Police say the male and female resident of the home, along with their adult daughter, returned home from dinner on Thursday night, and as they parked in the driveway, the daughter exited the vehicle and was confronted by a male subject who demanded her purse and her mother’s purse, stating he had a gun.  A short struggle ensued and the daughter was punched in the face.

The man was able to obtain the daughter’s purse and jacket before fleeing on foot.

Officers set up a perimeter in the area and used a police K-9 officer in an attempt to track the suspect, but were unsuccessful.

Now, police are releasing a sketch of the suspect in the hopes someone will recognize him and help in this investigation.

The suspect is described as a black male with a large build. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket and dark pants.
