Fatal hit-and-run: Police seek vehicle, driver after 89-year-old woman hit near 90th & Bender

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon, October 25th.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. near 90th Street and Bender Avenue.

Police say an 89-year-old Milwaukee woman, identified as Geraldine McBride, was walking across the street and was struck by a older burgundy four-door vehicle.

The vehicle fled and was last seen driving southbound.

McBride was taken to a hospital -- where she died from her injuries.

    I see the way some people drive lately. Sad. I see people blow red lights. Red before even entering intersections.
