of Rockford.

The family has been notified and a death investigation continues to determine why and how the boy was dismembered.

Guglielmi says Chicago police and the Rockford Police Department will coordinate their efforts.

The boy's heads, hands and feet were discovered by a park visitor in September. Detectives began culling missing person reports in their efforts to identify the victim.
