Milwaukee man wanted in connection with Brown Deer shooting now charged

BROWN DEER -- A man wanted by Brown Deer Police in connection with a shooting is facing one count of attempted first degree intentional homicide.

28-year-old Lamarr Taylor is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday evening, October 23rd around 5:30 p.m. on N. Park Plaza Court.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person shot.  A preliminary investigation revealed a dispute had occurred between Taylor and the victim prior to the victim being shot.

According to the criminal complaint, a witness stated that she was with the victim on N. Park Plaza Court when they were approached by Taylor. The witness claims that Taylor and the victim were talking when she observed Taylor display a handgun -- and fire his weapon one time.

Following the shooting, Taylor walked away and the witness claims the victim fell to the ground. The victim was transported to Froedtert Hospital, where he was admitted to the trauma department.

Taylor hasn’t been located.
