MILWAUKEE — As we get closer to Thanksgiving and Black Friday, we are learning more about what retailers have planned. One store is getting a jump on everyone.

JC Penney will open at 3:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving — according to the Black Friday ads just released.

The 3:00 p.m. start is two hours before Best Buy and Toys “R” Us — and three hours before Kohl’s, Target, Macy’s and Sears, which are opening at 6:00 p.m.

I dont see how they can do this. They just laid off over 300 people. Their last day is December 4th and they are forcing their employees to train their outsourced replacements or else they lose their severance packages along with all of their benefits. JC Penney is an out dated company who has ruined their chance to be competitive in the modern market. Might as well close it down for good.
