"He's gone in my car:" 911 calls, dashcam video released after manhunt for Andrew Obregon



KENOSHA COUNTY -- For the first time, we are hearing from the woman who says she was punched in the face, and had her car stolen by Andrew Obregon. Obregon is a suspect in the homicide of Tywon Anderson, whose body was discovered in a field of corn off of Highway A in Kenosha County on September 26th. Obregon was on the run for 11 days before his capture.

Newly released 911 calls and dashcam video provide a different perspective of Obregon's 11 days on the run in Kenosha County -- this time, through the eyes of law enforcement.

911 Caller: "He`s gone in my car. Please help me!"

Dispatcher: "What's going on?"

911 Caller: "Andrew Obregon. He just punched me in my house."

Officials with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department say this call was made on the day 32-year-old Andrew Obregon was finally captured.

911 Caller: "He might be running off with my Chevy Spark!"

Authorities received a 911 call from a 59-year-old woman who said Obregon punched her in the face and stole her vehicle.

Luckily, the vehicle was equipped with OnStar, which enabled authorities to bring the vehicle to a halt on October 13th.

That's when Obregon was captured in Lake County, Illinois after an 11-day manhunt primarily in Kenosha County.

Newly released dashcam video from a deputy's squad car shows a chase that reached speeds in excess of 100 miles-per-hour.

Obregon pleaded not guilty last week to charges of fleeing an officer, obstructing an officer and criminal damage to property.

Investigators say Obregon is a suspect in the homicide of Tywon Anderson, whose body was discovered in a field of corn in September.

In another video just released, we see a chase from March allegedly involving Obregon.

Officials provided the video, but didn't provide any details or context.

The woman who was punched in the face stayed on the phone with dispatchers until deputies arrived.

Authorities arrived within about 10 minutes.

Obregon is facing 32 criminal charges out of Kenosha County and one felony charge out of Racine County.

Obregon will next be in court in Kenosha County on January 21st.
