West Allis: Traffic stop leads to police pursuit, three arrests

WEST ALLIS -- West Allis police arrested three people after a pursuit that stretched into the City of Milwaukee early on Saturday, December 12th.

Officials say around 2:30 a.m., a West Allis police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop near 60th and National Ave. on a vehicle for displaying stolen license plates. The vehicle fled from the West Allis squad car and the officer pursued the vehicle.

Stop sticks were successfully deployed and the pursuit ended near 46th and North Ave. in the City of Milwaukee. The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot.

West Allis officers, with help from the Milwaukee Police Department, were able to locate and arrest three of the occupants, one which was the driver of the fleeing vehicle.
