Mission Pizza: Palermo’s enters into affordable pizza market, expands charitable giving
MILWAUKEE — Palermo’s newest product represents the company’s first foray into the affordable pizza market, and an expansion of its charitable giving.
Last month, the Milwaukee-based company launched Mission Pizza.
The frozen pizza costs between $3 and $4.
For every five pizzas sold, Palermo’s will donate a pizza to a local food bank.
The company hopes to donate 500,000 pizzas in 2016, which would mean selling 2.5 million pizzas the first year.
