MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, Arkansas -- Arkansas State Police arrested Jeremy Shorter without incident during a traffic stop in Mississippi County on Friday evening, January 8th.

Shorter was wanted by Kenosha police for allegedly abducting the mother of his two children early Friday. That 31-year-old woman was located in Oshkosh on Friday morning. Officials say she was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Shortly after that incident, Kenosha Police Detectives obtained a temporary felony warrant for Shorter.

But it wasn't until around 7:30 p.m. on Friday that Arkansas authorities caught up with Shorter. He is now being held on charges of Kidnapping, Reckless Endangerment, Intimidation of Victim and Substantial Battery.
