"I got my tickets:" Packers QB Aaron Rodgers reveals he plays Powerball, he's excited for drawing

GREEN BAY -- Some may think the Green Bay Packers' odds of beating the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday night, January 16th are like the odds of winning the $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers revealed on Wednesday, January 13th, hours before the drawing, that he plays the popular lottery game.

Rodgers loves to be seen as a common man -- a regular Joe.

On Wednesday, he was -- because like so many others, he was eagerly awaiting the Powerball drawing -- to check his tickets against the winning numbers.

Just like the rest of us, he was hoping he's win the record-shattering jackpot.

"I do play. Yeah. Why not?! I mean, come on! Everybody's got the same opportunity, right? One in 292 billion -- million -- sorry, million. I got my tickets. I'll be watching the drawing," Rodgers said.

Rodgers said he would buy an NHL team if he were to win.

So if he wins -- does he show up for work in Arizona on Saturday night?!
