Milwaukee police investigate shooting near Citgo gas station at N. 76th & Thurston

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that took place near a Citgo gas station located near N. 76th and Thurston Avenue.

The shooting occurred Friday afternoon, January 15th.

Police say a 51-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during an altercation with two suspects and went to the Citgo gas station for help. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.
